A standby generator, wired the way we wire everything.

This log home got a whole-house standby generator. Four things had to be right for it to come on by itself in the next outage. Point at a pin.

Quincy, WA · pole barn garage

“The field crew, Manny, George, and Jose, arrived promptly and wired my 900-square-foot garage in a single day. That level of speed is almost unheard of for a project of this scope.”

“As a fellow residential construction professional and licensed professional engineer, my expectations for fit, finish, and quality are higher than most. Wattsmart Electric exceeded those expectations.”

“My outside meter was literally melting and I called Josh in a panic, he came out that same day to look at it and got me on the schedule.”

Before you call

Questions we hear on the phone.

Still not sure? The office picks up Monday to Thursday from 7 to 3:30 and Friday mornings.

Yes. We quote it, put in the work request with the power company for a temporary disconnect, take the old panel apart, swap in the new one once power is off, and coordinate the reconnect and the L&I inspection, so you get power back the same day.

Zinsco and Federal Pacific (FPE) panels are the usual ones, and we treat Murray and Sylvania panels as unsafe too. If your home was built before 1978, have the panel looked at. Flickering lights and breakers that keep tripping are other signs.

We are certified Tesla Wall Connector installers. Once you have your charger, we run a dedicated circuit from your panel to where you want it and do a virtual same-day inspection with an L&I electrical inspector.

The Yakima Valley and Kittitas County: Yakima, Selah and Ellensburg, homes up at Suncadia, and farm and shop buildings further out. Call (509) 902-8040 if you are not sure.

Yes. We work with lighting vendors to see whether your building qualifies for a utility rebate on LED retrofits. Sometimes up to 70% of the cost is covered by the power company.

We offer discounts to seniors and military personnel, and promotional financing for bigger jobs, subject to credit approval.
