New construction and remodels
New Construction is where Wattsmart Electric started: Specializing in new construction commercial and residential wiring, as our Facebook page puts it. On a new house the electricians work in step with the framers, so the wire is in the walls before the drywall goes up and the panel is set where the plans call for it.
Remodels are a different job. The walls are already closed and somebody lives there, so the work is finding a clean path for new circuits, adding the lighting you asked for and bringing an old panel up to what the house now asks of it. Chapter 03
Service calls and repair work
Not every call is a project. A meter that is melting, a circuit that keeps tripping, a switch that stopped working: that is Service & Repair Work, and we handle it for homes from Yakima and Selah to Ellensburg.
Some service calls start with a panicked phone call. One customer called Josh about an outside meter that was literally melting, and we were out the same day and changed it out the same day.
